According to NAR (National Association of Realtors), today's housing inventory sits at an incredibly low 2.1 month supply, far below the 6-month mark it normally sits at. Not to mention inventory of single-family homes a year ago was already very low, and this year the numbers are even lower! While fierce bidding wars continue to plague the market, it is leaving many buyers to wander around what we like to call an "inventory desert."
